Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1914 PCGS PR-64
Lot Number: 248
Description: Without benefit of observing the coin outside the inhibitions of the plastic slab, it isn't easy to discern what infraction kept this from gem consideration. Perhaps a delicate hint of slide friction on the bison's hip and lower shoulder was the impetus for PF-64. At any rate, eye-appeal, especially from the obverse, seems quite in keeping with a higher grade as each side displays a pleasing admixture of magenta-peach and aquamarine colors. Exceedingly well struck, the dies brought up every last possible vestige of relief at the Indian's brow and over every high-relief area of the braid.
