Description: The planchet may be a bit mangled due to some sort of multi-impact treatment that has somewhat corrupted the pine tree design, although the peripheral legend actually remains partly legible on both sides. The date is also mostly readable -- admittedly more so for those who already know it should state "1652". Too bad about the damage, as the color seems quite pleasing for this kind of Massachusetts silver.
