Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1901 CACG MS-61
Lot Number: 691
Description: The 1901 suffers a double whammy of extensive circulation and mediocre production such that even mint-state pieces rarely show up "nice". All in all, at MS-61, this is a decent example that manages some noticeable windmill effect. Plentiful bagmarks scatter about, but none is individually overly intrusive on the eye. To its credit, nicer toning has evolved, starting with a nice mixture sea-blue, magenta-orange and rose at the rims and passing into predominant coral-rose nearer the centers.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
