Description: Scott Laiter Collection. While sometimes found prooflike, this is a fully frosted and impressively preserved Carson City that yields all of the appearance of mint-state, right down to flowline effect all the way through the fields -- admittedly diminished just barely by touch friction. In years past, this coin was undoubtedly sold as UNC. Telltale signs of wear, if one is being honest, include a small, visibly worn spot on Liberty's cheek and exceedingly faint butterscotch accents on the highest raised portion of several hair strands. While many marks spill across both sides, most appear to be bagmarks, joined by very little evidence of circulation contact.
