Blistering white, 1883 does offer a touch of cameo contrast on the obverse only, the quality overall seemingly very close to gem. 1885 could virtually pass as a circulation strike given the very minimal contrast, this example showing no obvious detriments that deny a gem grade. Two coin lot.
