Bold purple-cobalt, orange and magenta hues contrast sharply on both sides, leading to a dynamic appearance. Touching on another mentioned point, the strike actually seems highly proficient despite San Francisco's reputation for the era, as the Indian's portrait features only trace softness at the center while the reverse boasts a bold, strong horn, split tail and bold-as-can-be mintmark.
