Description: MS-64 seems to be the sweet spot for 1920-D since both the next grade above and below are both significantly lower. 1920-D represents just about the first year when Denver began routine producing poorly struck nickels, and even this better example suffers some evident flatness here and there. The cataloger's experience also suggests carbon spots as a common affliction and some can be noticed on the obverse, albeit the overall presentation shades nicely due to some glowing citrus-gold hues.
