Description: 63 graded MS-63, 193 higher at NGC. Recognized as a strike rarity within the series, 1928-S also represents somewhat of a grade rarity as well, with very few existing above MS-63 (assuming numerous upgrade attempts at the grading services). Here is a sparkling, blister-white example with edge-to-edge silver brilliance and breathtaking frosty texture. Struck off of a partially shattered reverse die. CATALOGER'S NOTE: The surface may show evidence of PVC residue and the coin likely should be professionally conserved.
