Description: Mighty Oak Collection. Type II / II, strike-doubled reverse, Bowers variety-2. In the date, "1" is visibly repunched and a tiny chip is missing from the tip-top of "8", while most of the reverse shows nice doubling, especially toward the lower right. This is commonly seen for this low mintage (1541) dollar, although what is not commonly seen is such appropriate use of the PR-60 grade. Hairlines clearly dart through the fields, but they are much diminished now with an almost glassy greyish tan appearance from edge to edge. Phenomenally sharp as always.
