Description: Mighty Oak Collection. Type I / II and according to PCGS, the finest example in their population report although bidders are cautioned that many other examples exist in higher grade but were never attributed. As an example, an MS-66 example currently resides in an old green label holder sans-attribution. This coin features bold orange coloration on the rims that quickly cedes to beige-gold within the fields. A bold strike was possible despite a sinking reverse die that shows extensive peripheral die cracks.
