Lot Title: 1929 $10 Type 1 - Flagstaff, AZ Charter #11120 - PCGS VF-25
Lot Number: 48
Description: The First National Bank of Flagstaff, Arizona, and a brand new note to the census, which itself shows Flagstaff to be a formidable rarity in small sized. Large size notes are occasionally available, but in conjunction, all of the known survivors off this northern Arizona bank create a stopper for the collector trying to collect one of each of Arizona's mere eleven issuers. The bank closed in January 1931 after an all-too-brief existence. Incredibly, another small note -- a $5- bill -- was actually spent in circulation as recently as within the last twenty years and is another of the extremely elusive representatives extant. A relatively low serial number E000375A merely underscores the scrappy little output off of Flagstaff, enhanced by the strictly original and completely problem-free quality.
