Description: The First Through Last Collection. Bass-Dannreuther-1 (R.4), and evidently an earlier die-state with no die cracks. A pleasing, vibrant example with plentiful yellow-gold brilliance, this choice example has even coloration and a fairly good strike that didn't quite bring up the eagle's lowest tail feathers, nor the left (observed) talon. Some adjustment marks show off the top of the cap and the bottom right of the bust, with none showing on the reverse. On the latter side, some slightly warmer orange tones gravitate toward the periphery.
