Description: Whitman Blue Collection. PCGS has certified four coins submitted directly from the consignor's albums, with mixed results. Franklin half-dollars include: 1955 "Bugs Bunny" (MS-64, rings of absolutely gorgeous color), 1957-D (questionable color, looks like perfectly normal album toning -- a very strange call), and 1958 (MS-65, once again filled with lovely album toning). Accompanying is a 1948-S quarter (questionable color, and again looks like vivid album toning except for a fingerprint, undoubtedly created when the coin was pressed into the album). Finally, NGC has certified a 1964 proof set at PR-69, including a RD cent, and every single one of these coins is absolutely pristine and free from color. Nine coin lot.
