Lot Title: 1803 No Stems large cent S-243 NGC VF details/environmental damage, and an 1804 Crosslet 4, Stems 1/2 cent PCGS AU-50
Lot Number: 272
Description: Holly Berry Tree Collection. Early copper pieces makes this a tempting pair for the collector. First is an 1804 Cohen-9 half-cent, struck off early dies which may help explain sharp details for the grade, joined by highly appealing pecan-coppery hue. Accompanying is 1803 Sheldon-243 large-cent that looks quite a bit nice than the NGC "environmental damage" would lead one to believe, and a popular variety with no stems and a widely repunched second "S" in STATES. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
