Description: Here is a beautiful set of four pristine proof issues that celebrate the 230th Anniversary of the birth of the great French General Lafayette. The four coins all show a nearly identical design but are struck from the four different precious metals. Included in this set are the following issues: a Silver 100 Francs 1987, a Gold 100 Francs, a Platinum 100 Francs, and a Palladium 100 Francs 1987. All are Gem Proof in the original case of issue with certificate of authenticity (#09366) (ck).
