Description: Holly Berry Tree Collection. Julius Caesar as Dictator, and struck by a traveling mint (i.e., portable industry) that accompanied Caesar in northern Italy. This is an extremely popular type with the elephant motif trampling a horned serpent, struck somewhat off center for this example and accompanied by "bankes marks" per NGC. The opposing side displays implements, including a culullus, aspergillum and securis (an axe decorated with a dog's head).
