Description: 9 graded MS-64+, 62 higher at PCGS. For the collector of original coins, here is a near-sensational opportunity to obtain a difficult date in marvelously well-preserved condition. Delightful, so-called "doughnut glaze" patina shimmers over the whole surface except where tasteful citrus-bronze and russet-gold enjoy protection within the recessed devices. Very good striking pressure brought up beautiful details throughout, including at Liberty's hand where separation can be seen between all the fingers. Trivial luster grazes in the obverse right field probably deny full gem status.
