Description: Bert Davies Collection. Population: 5 at NGC. Stunningly rare as a GSA survivor, the 1899-O simply never comes to market in its original hard shell holder. Evenly distributed abrasions are just limited enough to allow for a fully choice grade and booming luster affirms that evaluation. As often seems to be the case for New Orleans dollars, the reverse appears a full grade better than the obverse. (box and certificate included)
