Lot Title: 1885 MS-63, 1886 MS-63, and 1887 MS-64, all GSA NGC
Lot Number: 551
Description: Bert Davies Collection. A trio of consecutively dated non-Carson City GSA dollars will be tough to pass up for the collector with a hankering for something much rarer than the common 1882-4 CCs usually seen. Included are: 1885 (blast white with a curious stain left of the eagle's motif and minor scruffiness on Liberty's neck), 1886 (abraded on the obverse but surprisingly free from contact on the choice-plus reverse), and 1887 (fragile golden toning over a very good strike). Three coin lot. (boxes and certificates included)

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
