Description: Bert Davies Collection. Population: 119 at NGC. Blatant gem quality shows from either side as the cheek appears practically clean, and only a few stray abrasions escape to the reverse. Likely transferred from an original bag, some softly glowing orange toning descends inward from the rims. While not at all common, the 1883 Philadelphia dollar has relative availability in hard shell GSA holders compared to other non-CC entries. (box and certificate included)
