Description: VP Consignment. Overton-119 (R.5), 2 leaves. A lump in the shape of an acorn rests above the final star, and a diagonal die scratch at "E" of AMERICA quickly attributes this scarcer die-marriage. The scarcity rating seems valid as the cataloger seldom sees these above the XF grade level. Dove-grey patina overall creates a low-contrast appearance augmented by shallow remaining details, but everything remains boldly outlined. Astute bidders will notice a faint, subtle planchet lamination just above the bust, as well as some noticeable adjustment marks on the reverse.
