Description: Knock Knock Collection. 145 graded MS-67, 22 graded MS-67+, zero higher at PCGS. Blatantly common in lower grades, the 1898-P dollar becomes downright rare at the superb grade level, exceeded only by a limited supply of "plussed" examples. Here is an exquisite example that boasts a tremendous strike and dazzling luster, just slightly diffused by pale, greyish patina. Technically, the surface has practically no contact marks, and what appears to be a jagged nick beneath the ear proves to be an irregular planchet defect upon closer examination.
