Privately formed Tootle-Lemon Bank is now part of U.S. Bancorp but was once a powerhouse financial institution, well-respected nationwide. It was formed on June 2nd, 1902 as a national bank, successor of banking firm Tootle, Lemon & Co. President John S. Lemon, and Vice Presidents Milton Tootle, Jr. and Graham G. Lacy (whose penmanship enhances this note) were assisted by cashiers E.H. Zimmerman (the other signatory) and W.A. Evans. A delightful large example, the cataloger has only seen in-hand a $10
