Description: Cal Jefferson Collection. Nothing but early United States mint sets makes up this group lot of seven that includes 3x 1948, a 1949, and 3x 1953 sets. All of these sets are interestingly housed in custom cut black page holders that have a period correct appearance. Truly original examples offering moderately toned surfaces with strong ambient luster are noticed throughout this entire run. After viewing these coins there is virtually no doubt that these are truly original sets that have simply been transplanted to these pages many years ago (ck).
