Lot Title: 1942 Mercury dime MS-66, and a 1946-D Walking Liberty half-dollar MS-65, both PCGS (rattler) GOLD CAC
Lot Number: 197
Description: Offshore Technician Consignment. The gold stickers would seem to have trivial contribution for such common pieces, but we all know how sticker aficionados feel about having yet another seal of approval for desirable old PCGS holders. The 1942 dime offers an uncommonly well preserved reverse while a single nick lands on the back of Liberty's cap. Pleasing, vintage apricot-grey patina endows the 1946-D half-dollar with desirable qualities in addition to lovely, frosted luster and a solid strike. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
