Lot Title: China - Two Silver Dollars
Lot Number: 134
Description: Gadsden, Alabama Collection. A pair of popular silver dollars in better grade comprises this China offering. First is 1920 KM#329.6, L&M-77 [UNC/cleaned] showing strong evidence of Kraft envelope toning, given the strangely attractive but unusual verdant-green and chartreuse toning on the obverse. "Cleaning has been inferred by several hairlines on the portrait. Accompanying is 1927 KM#318a, L&M-49 [AU/cleaned], nicely struck and a little glossy, although possibly struck with semi-prooflike surfaces that have since been cleaned to limited degree. The periphery has begun to acquire secondary toning. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
