Lot Title: Canada - Group of Sixty Coins
Lot Number: 128
Description: Gingerbread, Cake and Candy Collection. An assemblage of Canadian pieces has a few nicer surprises and spans a large range of dates and grades. Silver dollars, mostly UNC, span 1935 - 1960, followed by six 50-cent pieces dated 1938 - 1960, none of them particularly valuable. Next are seven 25-cents dated 1912 - 1963 and nine 10-cent pieces from 1907 - 1960. Finally, 5-cent silver pieces date from 1880 - 1920, followed by sixteen nickel 5-cents dated 1922 - 1960. Virtually no duplication exists among these pieces, and some highlights include: 1936 dollar (near choice BU), remarkably attractive 25-cents dated 1951 (AU), 1962 (BU), and 1963 (BU), an exceptional 1956 10-cent, 1881-H 5-cent (XF), 1899 5-cent (XF+), and a 1909 5-cent (XF). No individual coin would command a huge price tag, but given the variety, this is an excellent beginner's sixty coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
