Description: Bert Davies Collection. Even and consistent ash-grey layers over the entire 1803 half-dollar, which shows a nice die clash at the ear and also a few expected contact marks. 1838 has begun to develop hints of album toning that starts as bluish and orange-grey at the rims and works inward toward better-than-average detailing overall. Two coin lot.
