Lot Title: 1882 PCGS PR-66CAM
Lot Number: 585
Description: Ms. Anna's Collection. 4 graded PR-66 CAM, 7 higher at PCGS. Splendid presentation of George T. Morgan's artistry begins with the acquisition of a deeply sculpted and extremely precisely detailed specimen of this level of quality. The cataloger cannot recall viewing a better struck proof silver dollar, right down to the three individual strands of hair merging into a single strand over the ear. The obverse faces up virtually pure and colorless while a gossamer layer of bronze-grey layers over the reverse without subduing the mirrors in the slightest. Intensely reflective mirrors on the reverse exceed the depth of reflectivity on the obverse by a little but both sides possess terrific contrast that surely cannot be far from UCAM.
