Description: Rum'n'Cola Collection. 86 graded MS-63, 9 higher at NGC. FS-501 denotes an over-mintmark, each of the Cs showing internal evidence of a prior punching, but also a distinct lower curve off right, leading to rapid attribution. On its own merits, 1891-CC gets plenty of recognition as a grade-rarity since many are available below the choice level, but few remain at or above the grade level. The mintmark variety adds to the intrigue. Exceptional luster automatically places this specimen into choice contention and the plethora of minute surface nicks take nothing away from energetic visual appeal.
