Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1939-S PCGS MS-67 CACCAC
Lot Number: 903
Description: Rum'n'Cola Collection. 252 graded MS-67, 31 higher at PCGS. An absolutely sensational coin, both sides exhibit phenomenally problem-free surfaces, lacking even a single mentionable mark on the obverse. On the reverse, a singular modest nick beneath the eagle's right (observed) talon barely deserves mention, and then only because the overall quality would otherwise warrant upgrade consideration. True, strike quality at the exact center of the obverse faithfully reproduces lowered expectations of San Francisco emissions of the era, but elsewhere, much better definition prevails. Seemingly pure white in most respects, astute observers will notice a tinge of peach toning around the peripheries.
