Perfect color for the grade suggests the note has not been subjected to any harsh chemical treatment, and the edges appear reasonably sharp within the holder. The cataloger recalls seeing no example better than VF, and with this being such an in-demand high-denomination note, even a $500 with "closed pinholes" (per PMG) will warrant aggressive bidding. They are not easy to find -- look on the back above the third zero of the lower left 500. Burke-Glass signatures.
