Description: New Scotland Consignment. Much better struck than expected, both sides display close to ideal definition for a New Orleans dollar. Broad centers of each side display considerable white brilliance, while the obverse margins have become delightfully toned with gorgeous rainbow colors in the shape of an oval border. Even the reverse features traces of color near the rim. A few superficial, minuscule abrasions encroach into the reverse fields.
