Description: The Mount Olive National Bank Mount Olive, Illinois. The census reports five pieces off of this rare bank, which issued only 250 type-2 hundreds, but this new addition brings the total known (to the cataloger) to six. Also noteworthy is the W.W. Prange/A.G. Prange signature combination by locally famous bankers after whom a street in Mount Olive has been named. Rather crisp for VF, the note suffers but one shortcoming, a light paperclip stain down the middle of either side.
