Description: Triple Decker Collection. The "L" on the truncation of the bust identifies the more common sub-type for the "open wreath" reverse. This is a fabulous example for MS-63, endowed with lovely lime-green iridescence and considerable frosty texture. A thin, curving die crack on the reverse extends from the left rim through DOLL and down to the punctuation following the date. Yet despite impending die failure, the obverse displays terrific sharpness and only a trace of softness shows on the reverse.
