Description: Kagin-6 (R.4), reeded edge, 887 THOUS. Perhaps somewhat better struck than usual upon emission, the rock upon which the eagle perches shows more details than expected, as even some of the rare UNC pieces show virtually no details in that area. Most important, the machined lines of the "target reverse" show virtually no blemishes, aside from a single nick, three-quarters toward one of the points. Only light wear merges some of the lines just slightly. Even the date on the obverse, often found weak at the bottom of the digits, shows rather plainly. Generally even buttercup-yellow hue fills the surface and adds to an overall pleasing presentation.
