Description: Tsesari Marc Collection. By far mostly complete, the only pieces lacking are all three 1793s, 1799, 1804, and two 1834 varieties, for a total of seven absences. Present and accounted for are numerous much better large-cents that will assuredly command a bidding war during the auction. Some highlights of early dates through 1814 include: 1794 (Fine/porosity), 1795 (VG details), 1796 Liberty cap (Fine details), 1796 draped bust (VG details), 1801 (Fine), 1802 (VG), 1803 (Fine details), 1805 (VF details), 1810 (VG), 1811 (VG/edge damage), 1812 (Fine details), 1813 (Good), 1814 (VG details). Middle dates include highlights such as: 1816 - 1820 (VG to Fine), 1821 (VG), 1822 (Fine), 1823 (VG/slightly burnished), 1824 through 1834 (generally VG to Fine), 1835 - 1837 (generally Fine), 1838 (VF+), 1839 (VF), 1839 head of 1838 (VF+), 1839 silly head (VF and attractive), 1839 booby head (VF), 1839 petite head (XF/old cleaning). From 1840 on, several examples begin to consistently grade VF to XF, including 1844/81 (VF), 1847/small 7 (XF/obverse burnished), 1851/81 (XF+ details), 1857 large date (XF details), and 1857 small date (XF). Six extra examples have been labeled 1807/6, 1814 plain 4, 1819 small date, 1820 small date, 1820/19, and 1823/2 (VG).
