Description: Daily Homer Collection. Early mint sets are very difficult to find in their original state because so many sets have been cherry-picked for choice examples to be put into album collections. This lot displays that point with a complete 1952 mint set full of beautifully toned silver issues, strongly struck nickels, and fiery red cents. Contrarily, the 1951 mint set is only a partial set that is half of the halves, quarters, and cents along with all of the nickels. Could be a great “parts piece” (ck).
