Description: The new millennium didn't prevent Philadelphia from occasionally issuing spectacular mint errors. First is a double-struck example with both strikes taken off-center without a collar. The second strike was powerful enough to corrupt the copper plating to delightful effect. Accompanying is a an example broadstruck, again both strikes taken with no collar, resulting in grotesque distortion of the diameter. It ain't the slip-and-slide, but what else could be more fun than a fabulous error two coin lot?
