Lot Title: 1834 Small Date, Small Letters PCGS MS-64+
Lot Number: 694
Description: Crazy Animal Collection. Overton-109. An extra point on star 10 and some near-horizontal die lines within the shield's upper vertical stripes help identify a very common 1834 die-marriage. A tremendous strike illustrates the capabilities of the early mint, as this exceptionally well detailed half-dollar misses nothing. A very few tiny scrapes beneath the eagle's beak must be taken into account by the grade, but a coin that's been loaded up with so much luster like this will certainly garner gem consideration. Pleasantly dressed up in royal bluish grey, platinum-rose and slightly steely highlights.
