Lot Title: 1827 Square 2 O-109 PCGS MS-61
Lot Number: 656
Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-109 (R.4). 1827 offers many challenging opportunities during attribution, but O-109 is one of the easiest due to jagged die defects beneath the ear. This happens to be an intensely appealing example that incorporates beautiful, spinning cartwheel luster into the visual appeal. Perhaps more important to the toning enthusiast, gorgeous, saturated electric-blue toning around both peripheries surrounds opulent shades of golden rose, and coral-orange within the fields and centers. Carefully preserved and seemingly quite a bit nicer than just MS-61, the cataloger could find not even the smallest abrasion on either side, except for a meaningless, old hairline on the bust.
