Description: KM#528. These were struck by Johann Georg II, Elector of Saxony, in commemoration of the birth of his grandson Johann Georg IV. As a consequence of their intent as commemorative pieces, many have been mounted or otherwise used as jewelry or display pieces in the distant past. NGC suggests UNC details, but the AU+ sharpness seems more likely, endowed with beautiful lead-grey patina.
