Lot Title: 1814/3 PCGS MS-62 (green label)
Lot Number: 613
Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-101a. A die crack begins in the dentils in front of the bust and connects the stars on the left, but despite the cataloger's assignment of die-state "a", this spectacular example lacks the die clashes usually seen. A premier coin by any measure, the obverse has become endowed with brilliant rings of color that propagate inward from the rims with chartreuse, cobalt-green, neon purple, cinnamon and salmon-grey. The reverse features a broad swath of mulberry-grey surrounded by a gleaming chartreuse-green band.
