Description: VAM-4B "rusty fish hook", this the earlier late die-state with no cud. Furthermore, the counterclash at Liberty's throat barely shows at this point. The cataloger believes that prior to the rim cud forming is when most of the DMPL examples would have been struck, fresh off of newly polished dies. There is no doubt as to the reflectivity seen here, which extends out to about a foot in depth.
