Description: Bolender-23, BB-105 (R.3). The obverse has a wide date and a pointed 9, with the final digit touching the bottom edge of the bust. The reverse has four lines per vertical stripe and a sharp tine ejecting northwest from the upper left corner of the shield. Both sides emit substantially bold luster that cartwheels freely through the fields despite the presence of prodigious lavender-grey and steely tan hues. Not only are all of the obverse stars prominently detailed, the reverse stars arranged above the eagle are also all very well formed. It goes without saying that this is quite a well struck example, and were it not for scattered tiny abrasions, it might well be fully choice.
