Description: The Belton National Bank Belton, Texas. Just two large size notes were reported at last check making this only the third example the cataloger is aware of off of this always-difficult bank (all of the Belton's six issuers are scarce to rare). The note was a fortuitous discovery within an old cash hoard and displays awesome signatures for the grade. Evenly soiled paper shows considerable wear with a very few tiny, internal pinholes but the paper remains unexpectedly complete for the grade level.
