Lot Title: 1929 $5 Type 1 - Steele, MO Charter #12452 - PMG F-12
Lot Number: 22
Description: The First National Bank of Steele, Missouri. Located way down in the bottom of the boot heel of Missouri and scarcely more than a water tower and railroad tracks, Steele lies not far from the Arkansas border in southern Pemiscot County. This five has a few pinholes and a larger interior hole at the upper left numeral that help account for the grade, as does substantial toning often seen for rural notes of this vintage. Central splits and a number of chips off the top edge are also worth mentioning, but make this note no less rare given only nine reported.
