Description: Check out this breathtaking 14K gold locket in yellow, gold and green tones. Dating back to the late 1800s, this locket has three levels in its construction. The bail has a “chain of love” set on the top, meaning chained to one’s heart or locked in one’s keeping, in Victorian parlance. On the locket itself, there are three pearls at the center, possibly representing either tears or betrothal to a gentleman. The design is made complete with leaves, small buds, and a bit of etching with an engraved sentiment on the back. Dimensions: 2.25” x 1.25”, 9.3 dwt.
