Description: The Crimson Collection. Strictly smooth wear appears over the 1835 at arm's length and decidedly bright luster shimmers between the stars. A closer inspection finds a number of thin, vague surface abrasions that individually do not distract. Some album toning has settled into the periphery of 1854 "with arrows", this half-dollar showing scarcely any luster at all. The date appears entirely recut. Two coin lot.
