Description: PVC toning still shows a bit on the 1820, but otherwise, it appears to be a pleasing, original ash-grey example with wonderfully sharp (for XF) details. 1827 shows a bit of mint luster overall, but truth be told, AU-50 seems to be the maximum possible assessment, and this coin's surface also seems to have scattered evidence of PVC. The cataloger politely suggests professional conservation for this two coin lot.
